To that end, we’re excited to announce our support in the launch of a new, first-of-its-kind free-to-use curation platform called Corners, where users can coin, create, and share collections of internet content. Corners allows us to expand our ecosystem beyond gaming, as previously announced in The Sandbox 3.0 rollout, and into a broader distribution network of culture while introducing new utility and monetization opportunities for the SAND token.

The invite-only beta launch of Corners kicks off on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, and will be followed by a full public rollout in early 2026. Early adopters who wish to discover, create their own corner, and gain value from their curations can join the waitlist via www.corners.market. 

Curate Your Corner

Every day, millions of people share playlists, save threads, collect links, and highlight moments, contributing to the internet, all without realizing the value they create. Corners changes that.

Corners lets anyone create a “Corner Coin,” a transferrable digital asset based on a curated collection of links and content. Users can build communities around any topic, from the best YouTube moments to emerging design trends or personal playlists.

Others can contribute by adding content, collecting drops, or supporting a corner, helping grow its visibility and value. Active curators can also earn rewards, including SAND, which promotes participation and strengthens the broader ecosystem."

In Corners, curators become creators and benefit from their taste and work. Built on Base, each corner is backed by SAND. 

The Sandbox is Now on Base 

With the launch of Corners, SAND will also become available on Base through an initial liquidity pool on Aerodrome. This expansion will make SAND and The Sandbox ecosystem accessible beyond Ethereum and Polygon, offering a new, accessible on-ramp for on-chain communities and making it easier to move across the crypto ecosystem.
