The Walking Dead LAND Sale — Wave 1: The Prison

Walkers have located the Metaverse and will reach it on August 26th at 1PM UTC.

Pack your stuff up and head over to the Prison area of the map to contain the invasion. 530 LANDs and 120 Premium LANDs surrounding the Prison, will be for sale to hold off the invasion.

TL;DR

We are introducing the Dutch Auction during The Walking Dead LAND sales.

A total of 2x ESTATEs S (3x3), 3x ESTATEs M (6x6) and 1x ESTATE L (12x12) will be available during this round and will be sold in auction on OpenSea.
Each ESTATE L touches the main The Walking Dead 24x24 ESTATE, giving them extra value.
Each ESTATE will have a different start and end price depending on its size.
The price will drop every second from the start price until one bidder accepts the current bid after which the auction will be over.
Only one bid can be placed on the Dutch auction, so timing is of the essence.

Premium LANDs

For this first wave, each Premium LAND will be sold with five exclusive NFTs from the The Walking Dead universe. These LANDs will have 1 Common, 2 Rare, 1 Epic and 1 Legendary Premium NFTS.

How does the Dutch auction work?

The auction will begin at the starting price corresponding to its size and will slowly decrease to the corresponding end price.

The first person to accept the bid will get the ESTATE. You will have to be quick when the ESTATE reaches the price you want to bid at or someone could get it before you do.

Why are the 12x12 ESTATEs touching the main The Walking Dead ESTATE and why should I care?

For these four waves there will be four large ESTATEs, one for sale for each wave. All of these ESTATEs have a prime location around the main 24x24 The Walking Dead ESTATE and at the very center of the map.

Being neighbors with a brand as influential as The Walking Dead will also generate higher foot traffic from players, which it turn can potentially equal more income through monetisation.
